Not much going on ....sort of.

Well not much going on in Mynes Land.(except as I wrote this I thought this does seems like a lot!)
Robby and I went to Bryan, TX to see my brother and my grandparents in Aggieland last week. We had so much fun and Robby is in love with my Granddad Henry, but who wouldn't be! My cousin Josh and his wife Shelly welcomed Ella Grace to this world on September 11. She is so pretty and so little...I praise God that she arrived here so safe and healthy. Brian, Robby, and I went to the zoo this last weekend! Robby's favorite part was the goats! We have been busy getting involved at our new church and just started in a new small group study and then Robby and I started Ladies Bible class on Tuesday.
And we are not so patiently waiting for the start of our house. I know that many of you have asked and are wondering "What is going on with your house?" And the answer is pretty much nothing! I went by there today for the hundredth time to see a hole ready to have concrete poured into it and literally started crying. They assure me that it will be poured by Friday, but I do not believe them! Wow thank you blog world for listening to me vent. I know in my heart that timing is everything and that it is out of my control and so I keep trying not to worry....but I think that everyone would agree that 4 months is a long time to wait for slab!
On to sweet Robby.... After coming through a couple of rough months of "mine and no" and screaming when he didn't get his way he has finally settled in to the fact that I don't give" in"....I believe that God gave me training while I was a middle school teacher for these tough months. Although it is a lot harder when it is your own child you are saying no to.
I am sure he will have other difficult times, but for now he is back to his sweet loving self and I am enjoying it so much.
