Rodeo Houston

This year we contemplated whether or not we would go to the Rodeo, but sweet Robby decided that for us....because he is obsessed with all things cowboy.
So we ended up going to the Rodeo/carnival 2 times!
The first trip was on a Tuesday evening and we went with David, Rachel, and Grandma Eileen. Madison stayed home with her first babysitter: Chelsea Power!! Thanks Chelsea.
Robby got all decked out in his cowboy gear...he is so cute...and we headed down to the reliant center to eat, play, and then watch the rodeo. We did not get to stay for the whole rodeo, but it was fun.
Highlights of the trip included: the giant slide, funnel cake, a pony ride, Robby got a cowboy rope, and fireworks during the national anthem!

Cowboy at the petting zoo. Cowboy with his Grandma.
First Pony ride!Robby would salute people as he went by them...it was a crack up.

The Big Carnival Ferris Wheel!

The the following Tuesday we went with our friends from Dallas to the carnival or the "Fair" as the kids called it. Despite the crazy weather it was great! Madison was a perfect baby!
Highlights include: a "day on the farm", riding a ton of rides, great funnel cake!!, and winning a buzz lightyear toy.

Robby and Gracie driving the train.

The big Bull!
